Free online lecture Nov. 16, 11 a.m.
The Oregon Catholic Historical Society and Catholic Charities of Oregon are teaming up to offer a free online history lecture Saturday, Nov. 16, 11 a.m.

In “Pioneering Catholic Social Ministry,” Ed Langlois will examine the profound legacy of work by Oregon Catholics for people on the margins.
Langlois, a reporter and editor at the Catholic Sentinel for almost 30 years, is now communications director for Catholic Charities, which figures heavily in the history. He holds a master’s degree in pastoral ministry from the University of Portland.
