Campaign News:
May 6, 2008. The Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation Awards $750,000 to the Clark Family Center. This was a very significant gift as the Gates Foundation gives limited amounts in our region. They are very thorough in their research of our proposal and their endorsement lends considerable credibility to the project. We especially thank Annie Clark, Gates Foundation Program Manager, for her work on our behalf.
May 13, 2008. Meyer Memorial Trust Gives $600,000 Gift. With gratitude to the trustees, Doug Stamm, Executive Director, and Barbara Gibbs, Program Manager, we are pleased to announce this major gift. The receipt of one of the largest awards in the funding cycle is recognition by the community of the work of Catholic Charities and the necessity for the project.
