El Program Hispano - Mental Health & Addiction Services

La Familia Latina Outreach and Addictions Treatment Program (FLOAT) is a program providing addictions treatment, counseling and housing resource/referral to Latino families/individuals that are homeless or at-risk of being homeless as a result of addictions or mental health issues. El Programa Hispano works in partnership with Central City Concern to offer these services to the community.

Mental Health Integrative and Organizational Services (MIOS) provides culturally specific mental health services to Latina families in Multnomah County. MIOS is a collaboration of community-based agencies that work together to provide quality, culturally specific mental health care. The MIOS team represents a variety of Latin America countries and includes bi-lingual and bi-cultural psychotherapists, case managers, "Promotoras" or community health workers, and a psychiatrist. El Programa Hispano works in partnership with the Oregon Council for Hispanic Advancement and Cascadia Behavioral Health to offer these mental health services.

El Programa Hispano's Counseling Services provides culturally specific, outpatient counseling and support services to Latino individuals and families. As part of this service, each client will be assessed to determine the most appropriate intervention modality for their needs and situation, including individual, family and/or group counseling.
